Our counselling is free and confidential. We suggest possible solutions and courses of action, but the decision always remains with the client.
The Bavarian Anti-Trafficking Helpline acts as a point of contact for suspected cases of human trafficking. Contact can be made both by (potential) victims of human trafficking themselves or by people who are in contact with (potential) victims. These can be, for example, relatives, friends, acquaintances, professionals or other concerned individuals. The concerns are dealt with by trained counsellors via telephone, chat or mail and, if necessary, forwarded to the relevant authority in your area (e.g. social services or public authorities). Counselling and referral are free of charge and, if desired, can be provided without providing any personal data.
In addition, a written report of suspicion can be submitted via online form. This allows you to report a suspicion without providing personal data and without getting into direct contact with the counsellors.
As a member of the nationwide Coordination Group against Human Trafficking (KOK e. V.), we are committed to quality standards and therefore refer victims of human trafficking exclusively to specialist counselling centres that are also part of the KOK e.V..
We are aware that human trafficking is a debated topic in society and politics. We attach great importance to differentiating between voluntary sex work or prostitution and sexual exploitation. For information on sex work and prostitution, please contact relevant experts, such as specialist counselling centres.
